Judging by what the buyer told me his inspector told him, someone may have under reported issues here. I will laugh if I get called to be an expert on this home later. To answer your question, I do not check each unit to see what type they are, but I normally check one unless I can tell they are over 8 years old, then I just recommend they all be replaced with Photo electric units.
